It was an RAF hospital but served all forces in the area. Our first was born there and I was army. I also spent a short time in there with a cyst under a tooth.

During my time at RAF Eindhoven '53-'56 I transported (as a MT driver) quite a few wives to this hospital to have their offsping. I took in one and came out with two and a few times three, counting the mother!!
Although I never visited as a patient I found it to be a very clean and capable hospital but then the RAF did have the best doctors....!!

My first was also born in 1973 at Wegberg. Sadly we lost her in 1977. I have a very tatty old postcard of Wegberg in aerial view. The Wegberg ring was a famous car race track at one point I understand?
