Hi there. I'm posting this message on behalf of my father Donald Turner.

He was stationed at Delmenhorst between May 1954 and July 1955. He was a radar mechanic with 5 AGRA REME workshops. From July 1955 to December 1956 he was stationed at AA ranges at Todendorf.

Prior to that he did his basic training at No. 1 Training Batt at Blandford (Sept to Nov 53) and at No.5 Training Batt at Arborfield (Nov 53 to April 54).

He would love to hear from anyone who remembers him or anyone who served ...

Have purchased several maps produced by the War Office in 1945

Iserlohn along with Dortmund & Hamm as they border the Iserlohn map also Hameln there must have been a shortage of paper in those days as the the map was printed on the back of a 1940 German map of Maryborough Ireland! If appears that ownership of the map does not give you copyright that appears to still remain with the crown can anybody expand on this?

Can anyone confirm the existence/location of these Barracks? As has been said in another post, it was quite possibly initially occupied by Royal Artillery, although a contact has stated that 314 Transport Group CMLO were there for a time.

Help please.

Paul.

Further information finds that this Camp may have been in the Bochum - Harpen area
