British Troops In Berlin - Bronze medallion

I recently came across a bronze medallion 2" diameter. On one side it has the red & black formation sign in enamel and the words BRITISH TROOPS IN BERLIN, on the other side it has an embossed/stamped picture of what appears to be the olympic stadium. There is no date or other marks. I would like to hear from anyone who knows how old it is and whether it was struck for any special event or award. I haven't been able to find anything about it at all so I'd welcome any information.

Hello,

I am looking for any information about my grandfather James A.N. McEwan.

After spending the first world war fighting in the middle east with the honourable artillery company he joined the RAFVR from 1941 to 1948.

Initially he served in Torquay with the I.T.W.'s rising to the rank of Wing Commander. Thereafter he went to Berlin in July 1945. I am not sure whether he went as part of the military government then or not. However he left the RAF in 1948 but remained in Berlin until 1952. ...

Hi there, I have been researching my Great Uncle Eric's war service. Please find below two photographs of the 1st Battalion The Green Howard's. My Great Uncle Eric on both photos is at the back 5th from the left.

On the back of the photo it has the following: Willi Husscke, pressefotograf, Berlin Kladow, Alt Kladow 17

He was in the Green Howard's from the 30/6/46 to 20/9/47

Looking at where he could of been stationed through your the site, I believe this to be Montgomery Barracks. Looking ...
