2 L.I. and Deilinghofen

I am still trying to catch up on both the Forum and the Main Site, but i have come across a discrepancy (NO - I am not the QM checking up on your kit )

It is said that 2 L.I. were in Peninsula and Barossa, moving from one to the other. 2 L.I. are listed as being in Peninsula 1984 to 1987. The occupants next door are listed as The Gordon Highlanders up to 1988, followed by 3 RRF (no mention of 2 LI).

Can anyone provide proof of who was where please???

From a 1945 British map of the Iserlohn area the site of the Canadian Forts in Deilinghofen is marked 'Landing Ground' and thanks to some local knowledge the German barracks down the hill towards Hemer called Blücher Kaserne was still being built at the end of the war the Belgium Army used the place until the reformed German Army took it over in the 50s until just last year

As one left Deilinghofen, past the barracks, enroute to the Hoennetal, just before the turn off on the left going into Menden and the turn off going right towards Sans Souci and Balve and just before one "entered" the Hoennetal proper, there was a fairly large gasthaus down below the road level on one's left as one approached this T-junction mentioned above.
