			<description>I crossed channel New Years Day 1949 through Hook,  Hanover to 94th Obs Regt RA at Luneburg   The Greys were there then, the 7th HUssars took over from them later, and were certainly there in 1950 as I left in March 1950  The Black Boar was certainly at the front of barracks then. The Piper of the Greys (A Huge Guy and a worry to the NCO's doing YMCA duty) on New Years eve 1950 led a huge &quot;Pied Piper of Hamlin&quot; crowd of Germans round Luneberg , dressed Full Fig he had them spellbound.  ...</description>

			<description>I would like to know if any one knows me or the places I have been stationed at. 

When I join up for my national service in June 1950 I went to Colchester for training after training in August was posted to Düsseldorf in Germany with the ROYAL NORFOLKS regiment

After about 8 mouths  we came home to Dover Castle for about 1 month  then on to Crowburough to train to go to  Korea   but I didn’t go so we got sent back to Germany     with the ESSEX regiment to Elizabeth barracks in Minden  for  ...</description>
