I was there 64/65 but not with the Black Watch, I was at HQ 11 Bde. The MQ block behind ours was all Black Watch families.

There was MQ,s behind the camp Elizabeth Bks, out the back gate,there also was a good beir bar where we were made very welcome.was there last year and the bar is now a food shop.Waterloo St there was a lot of MQ,s.
Does any one have any knowledge of the POW camp that was in Minden during the first World War?

26th Foot Regiment (Cameronians or Scottish Rifles were in Elizabeth Bks,there tour was cut short due to their antics down town,the Black Watch took over the barracks in 1964 and were there till 1969,there was a UN tour to Cyprus,during their period in Minden, but there was a rear party who looked after the Bks and the MQ,s
