| Naw thats OK cobber , Iam only a young whipper snapper of 41 My mum fondly remebers her time over there and she said that she went to alot of memorable parties with the Brits that were there, my dad had transfered over to the Australian Army by then. My sister was nearly born in the back of a red MG being taken to the military hospital there. I can still remember the geckos though! Cheers Troy | |

| Lord, what is it about you guys and the Welsh???? LOL
As for all the birthdays happening....I just had one (ugh) and am now officially past my mid-fifties. 57. Yikes. Never ever thought I'd be 57!!!!!
Whenever I look in the mirror, which I now try to avoid, I am constantly shocked at the old man peering back at me. See, to me I'm still in my 30s or maybe 40s with some hair left and only a hint of grey shooting through the sides....now? Far less hair (unless one counts the stray tufts I trim from out of and off my ears, eyebrows, and nostrils) and what hair I do have (I keep it buzzed) is cloudy day grey.
And, I find, I am being called "Sir" an awful lot by individuals I see as peers but are actually a good 20 years my junior. Ugh ugh ugh.....ahhh well, time marches on, doesn't it? Meh..... | |
