Looking for Ernest Finch, German who fought for England and after the war was in Eutin and Schleswig Holstein till 1948 or 1949. He helped with the relocation project (DP's) after the war. I have a photo to share if anyone knows of this gent.

searching for James Leggat - 1st Battallion Gordon Highlanders. He was witness at my parents wedding at chapel in Meeansee Barracks, Essen Kray on 24.12 1948. Marriage conducted by Rev MacKenzie. Father William Adam from Bonhill Dunbartonshire, married Ilse Wochnik, a local girl. Both parents now deceased. I was already a month old! Would like to know a bit more about father's army experiences if possible.
