Welcome Walter,
I think most on here are a little younger than yourself. A few REME like yourself on here, and a few RASC/RCT that knackered the wagons for you REME Wallers to fix
You can still enjoy yourself reading.Better still, relating any stories you have to tell
Cheers Jerry Very Happy

Walter as a REME youngster welcome to the site. You must have many interesting memories of your time as a Rec Mech, especially D day. Which unit were you with and what Rec Vehs did you have? Will be most interested in any info you have.
