PostSubject: Craftsman Harris   22/1/2011, 16:14

Has anyone else on here seen the recent story of the remarkable WW2 exploits of Craftsman Wally Harris MM (REME) ? They are about to make a film about him. He is still alive and well, aged 90. The story appeared in the Metro newspaper last week.
If you are interested, I can post up the details on here.

Wally Harris has been featured in our Corps Mag on a number of occaisons. I believe he still gives talks to REME recruits. A great character.
