[quote="cartav"]Here's one, slightly deviating from this topic's track, but certainly NS related.............

Somewhere south of Bielefeld, east of Munster, there's a road junction, it was signed "Harsewinkel" & "Fuchtorf". Whenever there was chance to call a halt, the truck would pull in to let the new lads pose for a photograph. Anyone else do the same?

No, but I have filled my car up at the BP garage in Wankum. I have also been to Wank in Bavaria. tongue tongue

It would be interesting to hear how visiting dignitaries would address the citizens of Wank. It would also be interesting to find out if they are twinned with another Town.

Hello All. "National Service" should never have been stopped in the first place. The last intake arrived when i was leaving (demobed). If ever it was brought back it would take a lot trouble off the streets, but can't see it ever happening though. Some countries in europe still have call up, but not us, but why. Alan B.

You would need as many guards as nashies to keep them at it.

I know that we all have our own ideas on what to do with to day`s youth.but with the HR and PC brigade, they will only be ideas, well mine anyway Sad

Can see you are keeping up! Most of them are as obselete as the enigma machine. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Scrotes should be put in military style prisons and I don't mean the modern version. Put them through what forces prisoners were put through back in the 40's, 50's and 60's and none of them would ever want to go back to that.

It's me bleedin uman rights innit?

Yeh Colchester with a big sand hill they have to run up and down all day with a large pack full of sand on their backs. Would make a good film that come to think of it!
