We have an Heir (Charles) and a spare (William) and as his sprogs come online, Harry becomes just another royal and remember Andrew was higher in the pecking order in 1982 when he flew helicopters in the Falklands war.

I do not think William will be allowed to go, not even in a cosy HQ post, but a Cyprus tour for a medal may be on the cards perhaps?
