I land at Southampton Docks on Arcadia, April 27th. Straight to Tescos to buy one of those mothers. Very Happy

I had a few of those on the Princess cruise ships recently, at the Deck Grill. Yanks loved 'em, so do I. No extra charge. I am sure Tescos would be better, gluten free?

I wasn't really a fan of the Bratwurst, preffered currywurst meself, anyhoo, continuing the Lidl theme...

A few weeks ago I was talking to the (current) wife about small flat tins of fish we used to buy during the 1980's in Germany. I would usually have a few stashed in my bergen on excercise. A few days after this conversation I got in from work to see half a dozen tins of 'Zarte Heringsfilets' on the kitchen table. They were exactly as I remembered, dead chuffed.

My wife while in town had remembered me reminicing about these flat tins of fish so just on the off-chance she nipped into Lidl and found them almost immediately, still great as a quick meal with potato salad:)
