| OK lads get yer battledress on. The Australian Defence Force is looking around the UK and USA for defence force geezers to fill specialist spots in the Australian Army, Navy and Airforce.  The Aussie Govt will fast track citizenship in 3 months for those selected.  Any takers from you lot? Plenty of Bratwurst and icy cold lager here fore you. Plus good wages and plenty of sunshine, not to mention the bikini babes.  I will give you blokes a reference, for a small fee.  |

| Know many ex UK Forces over the yeaes who have transfered to the Australian Defence Force but not aware they are recruiting for civilians??

| Thanks for the interest fellas, but veterans of the Boer War and Zulu Wars are prohibited from applying for the Australian Defence Force. Martini Henry rifles were replaced last year with the Steyr. Knowledge of the current Australian infantry rifle the Steyr SA80 is essential as is the ability to consume large quantities of ice cold lager (not Fosters!)  Ex British Army Catering Corps 'Cooks' welcome..as long they can cook the T Bone steaks and snags (sausages) and the odd prawn on the Barbecue. Sun screen provided to all ranks.  Bikini babes from Bondi Beach also supplied.  All applications to: Australian Defence Force HQ, Canberra, Orstralia. I shall be in the UK from 27 April to 15 May, 2012, so will be conducting interviews at your local watering hole, on behalf of the Chief of the Australian Defence Force, for a small fee. Anyway happy new year from the Colonials. |

I too would have cheerfully signed up but for the age limits
Posting preference would have been Sydney or Puckapunyal , trust I would be considered unsuitable for the Katherine or Townsville based Task Force
You clearly have influence perhaps you can resurrect the Ten Pound Pom scheme |
