Yes Steve and it is a fact that boys and girls used to be dressed the same (up until the age of two) I do know that as a youngster I was certainly in a dress (I don't remember it, do you think that could have had an effect on my life????) Rolling Eyes

Don't know about that Steve but both Victorians & Edwardians seemed to dress the kids in sailors outfits in addition to the boys in girls clothes.

Clive, I served in Korea 1954/5 and we had a Sgt in the REME (he was a civilian really, wore uniform due to being on active service)., His name was Richardson and had a Jiim Edwards moustache. Met him again when he was the AKC manager at Munster in the 1960's.

I attended that school from when it opened in 61? till I escaped in 63, hated every last minute of it! On a brighter note, us kids figured out how to get into the cinema for free, happy days, Ian
