I am new to the Forum. My name is Trevor Biggs. I used to go to Windsor Boys School form 71 to 76.

My Dad was Peter Biggs. He was in 16 AD Regt.

We lived at 2c saint laurence weg Soest.

Anyone knowing me or my Father who is happy to talk about the good old days, please contact me.

Thank you for the welcome.

My Dad was originally in 3RHA and they were stationed in Detmold.

I'm not sure whether he left the forces only to rejoin 16ADR.

It was a fantastic time watching him at parades when he was sargent major with the various troops within 16AD.

He ended his service as T/RQMS with 16 light Air Defence.

I seem to remember "40/70 bofor guns" ( sorry if that is not right ) going onto the rapier missile system.

He did 25 years or so, growing up as the son of a soldier who seemed tobe liked by all the junior ranks under him was an honour for me and my sisters.

He has been sadly missed so when ever he is mentioned or names from our past are brought up, it is really nice.
