I know this is a very long shot but you never know.

I am trying to trace a REME guy who was attached to 21st Signal Regt in 1976 at Wildenrath. Actually it is the girl he married that I am trying to trace on behalf of my brother because she was a friend of my sister in laws and a bridesmaid at their wedding in the church on the station.

Here's the trouble, I only know him as Cfn White aka Chalky of course. The girl he married was named Kim Pickering and her dad was serving in the RAF at the time as well.

Big anniversary coming up and they would love to contact this girl (lady) again. Any ideas?

Ta.

Teabag

There is a monthly magazine entitled Craftsman (similar to The Wire) sponsored by RHQ REME in Arborfield. It does contain a page entitled "Where are you now?" covering requests such as yours. The magazine is distributed to all REME units (Regular and TA) as well as Branches of the REME Association. There is just a chance that some one might recognise the name Chalky White of Wildenrath

Suggest you contact the Editor and who knows you might hit the target and score a bull's eye (apologies to all Gunners for continuing the Artillery theme)

From what I've seen the contributors to this forum achieve so far, Teabag, you WILL find the bloke you're looking for !
