Hi all,
Just back from secondment to the Canarian light Infantry, advising them on Communication matters. Met up with the Commander of the Tenerife border control, who are having problems with 'visitors' from the Saharah district, flogging copies at their Sunday market.
Consumption of ale and all day breakfasts seems to be on the up and up, despite the 'Spanish Financial problem'.
They are all in tropical kit as the temperature out there is now around 85 degrees in old money.
Have had to put some cream on my knees since returning to Home Command.
By the way, congrats to Gordon in making the rank of FM, now in league with HRH PC & one other who I cannot remember his name.
Good to be back amongst all you old sweats.

They are having forest fires on Tenerife at the moment.

Can we swap some of our rain for some of their sunshine ?
