| whats the betting Mr Dave and Mr Gideon will be passing any saved Tax payers cash from the Military on to either the ECB to save the Euro via the IMF, or the 'Department of Overseas Bungs & Baksheesh' to give to Johnny Foreigners in hot sandy places when they have told us that they don't need this cash. But still, our Foreign & Commonwealth Office has always been a law unto itself, and even defies government instructions. So our cash will be "well spent" still be sent out to grease palms, and buy squalid, corrupt politicians and business men as it has always done so for years and years. No change there. As for the 2 x 65 thousand tonne aircraft carriers? Well, one will probably be sold to the Indian Navy, or even the Chinese Navy will acquire like they did with that ex-Russian aircraft carrier somehow. The other one will be mothballed in Pompey Dockyard and turned into a tourist attraction, or super casino & hotel to earn some cash to pay down the deficit. But I jest as I always do........ | |

| You can see what's going on can't you?...I mean it's obvious, isn't it?...
In my opinion the spineless bunch of privilaged Old Etonians we call 'Government' are looking to the European model. Of course they would never admit that. In Europe it's the norm for armies to be made up of part timers/conscripts, as far as I'm aware the UK has the only professional army in europe. Anyone been on excercise with the Dutch, Germans, Danes etc etc? OK I agree they are not all rubbish and they do have some good individual units but as someone once said to me as we watched a phase of a multi national excercise on SLTA... 'you can see who the proffessionals are' ...and never was a truer word spoken.

| Cheap part time soldiering with no pensions means the average time someone will serve will be about six years. Those who have served in the past and those who had the audacity to claim a war pension. The MOD and the politicians have changed the whole of the defence budget and structure of the armed forces to the extent The rules have to change. Those veterans who get the pensions and their must be millions of us,must be costing the government and MOD millions in compensation all because we could claim for injuries sustained whilst we served. When the troops who are/were serving in BAOR return to the UK,quite a few of them will be made redundant hence the way the MOD are kicking a lot of them out to non existent jobs and pushing up the unemployment figures. | |

| Perhaps Mr Camerson and the Coalitions of prized twits will also invite anybody from abroad with the cash to invest, such as the Chinese, to invest their cash into UK Electriricy Generator companies. Then our strategic utilities will be controlled by Johnny Foriegners from a far off who don't really like us. Perhaps if trade reps from the Columbian Drugs Cartels turned up at Number Ten, then they would be invited to 'launder their Cash' through the Bank of England's Business Guarantee systems.... But I jest, and Mr Cameron and Pals wouldn't even dream of doing this, and they are all Honorable Peeps!! . Now was it Our Mr Teflon Tony who got rid of the Treachery Act for Treason just before he buggered ofksi to earn his Big Bucks, or is that still on the Statute Books?

Will never happen mate, cause there are many (probably in their millions) Muslims who hate the Sharia Law as much as you and I do. And I am one of those "Muslims"...on paper anyway. Don't forget, the Sharia Law is a men's thing and they would have a massive war on their hands first with their own wives, mothers, sisters and daughters before they can take on the rest of the country. Don't think you'll get the chance mate, the Yanks are not known for letting people go once they get their hands on them. Hooky will either be "put to sleep" (accidentally or otherwise) or will rot in jail for the rest of his natural life. I don't either think that he'll be released even on his death bed like the Lockerbie bomber.

| Like the Bible, the Koran was written by men who added their own interpretations of the law and lifestyle. You will know when Islam is encroaching on our way of life. They will have their mosques, schools, banks, laws, holidays, dress, and MP's.Oh I forgot, they already have these.Immigration must be stopped quickly, they are coming in their droves through the channel ports to settle here. How many illegals are here, and how many have been deported only to find their way back to the UK. | |

| Every religion was written by men and is the biggest killer but if it wasn't religion I'm sure some one would have found another excuse to kill, like oil for instance.
After WW2 the Germans invited foreigners (mainly from Turkey) to rebuilt their country and it worked. The UK opened it's borders to foreign workers to build up the working force to pay taxes to cover pensions but it's not working, why not?

| A MSO friend of mine in the early 70s told me a story of Italian Gastarbeiters arriving in Germany in the 50s, they were accommodated and worked on a farm. When they complained that the Spaghetti they were getting was not of the same standard as they were used to in Italy they were promptly put on a plane whence they came. Whether there is any truth in the story is debatable. | |

True at the time but they are literally every where now, even in Government and national football team and leaving the unskilled jobs to the new "gastarbeiters".

Never heard this one before. According to CIA Fact Book, Germany's population is in decline, even with so many foreigners living there, so I wonder what would happen to Germany's economy if they sent back all the "gastarbeiters"?
