| I've just become a member of this site. I was posted to Osnabruck 1n 68 and served in RHQ and 43 Fld Sp Sqn. Had a great time there - more or less. Does anyone remember the Tradesmans Arms 43's squadron Bar |

| Sadly no, didn't land in Osnabruck until 1989 (23 Engrs Quebec) my only link with Roberts barracks was the dentist! However I have seen recent pics of the place, quite sad. |

| What happened to the Officers Mess in Roberts Barracks 2 Div Engineers (23 Engr Rgt) side. I've just been looking at a Google map of Osnabruck and it does seem to be there. I was posted to the Officers Mess on arrival in '68.

| The Officers Mess is still there although large parts of the camp have been knocked down sadly. I was there last month and took a load of photos. Very sad to see it as it is now. |

Hi, am interested to know which blocks still standing; we were in block 12, on "an der netterheide" side before main gate, and used the cook house opposite across the square Would appreciate any photos, if you are able to download Good days at Roberts Barracks Regards Tony

| I was on the 2 Div Engr side between the NAAFI and the block that housed the Post Office and the Devon and Dorsets. The only part of the 25 Regt? side was the Crowbar, the barman was called Les and he had a Chameleon!!!
