Definitely the wife - I am useless at cooking. I always tell her, if I wanted to cook I would have joined the Army Catering Corps! Embarassed

Surely we are all capable cooks and are able to produce delicious variants of the basic Army compo rations (years of experience of crew cooking on FTXs provided the grounding, none of this boil in a bag poofter modern stuff was available then)

My wife would probably say I am the better cook, her idea is to head for M&S or S----y or W----e instant meal shelves and 30 minutes later produce the required meal with the minimum of effort and cleaning up.
