Whilst not wishing to steal any ones thunder but, I hope that it hasn't escaped everyones notice that I, Gen Shelldrake Late RA and GOC the "I Like You" Bar, Famagusta will very shortly be receiving my Baton to go with my knapsack. I am of the understanding that Her Britannic Majestys High Commissioner to Cyprus and GOC MELF will be holding a substantial soiree at the aforementioned's gaff in Nicosia, attendance will be by invitation only - so don't hold your collective breath! That is all - out.

TFFT....Now i can look forward to retirment.....

PS Note Gordon has not disclosed his full title, you might wish to advise. (alternatively our new REME Super Clerk will doubtless produce a suitable alternative)

I was thinking of something along the lines of Field Marshall The Lord Shelldrake of Nitshill, Heatherside and Kyrenia, that has a bit of a ring about it - I'll give it some deliberation.
