There is a museum on the premises of former RAF Laarbruch Weeze.
www.laarbruch-museum.net
It documents the 45/46 years of Royal Air Force in Laarbruch Weeze.

Regrettably LAARBRUCH is missing from the list but it is there…
http://baor-locations.org/RAFLaarbruch.aspx.html
along with
http://baor-locations.org/RAFGoch.aspx.html

The website is under new ownership and changing to a more user friendly provider but this changeover will take time when complete we will be able sort out the errors and add new information cheers

In the meantime here are the details of BAOR units supporting RAFG when RAF Laarbruch was operational

Jul 58 – 11 Air Formation Signal Regiment arrives renamed 21 Signal Regiment (Air Formation) Sep 59 moved to RAF Wildenrath Jul 70 as Air Support – 3 squadron remains at Laarbruch renamed 220 Signal Squadron Jan 93 moved to RAF Colerne Sep 99

Jan 73 – 10 Field Squadron RE arrives from 37 Engineer Regiment Longmoor disbanded Nov 82

Regards
Steve
