Question for the old fuddie duddies

Just watched the tonight program about retiring and companies ect are not aloud to discriminate against a person age if he/she wishes to work after 65 though it maybe in a limited capacity !!!!! now does this rule apply to the services because after 22yrs you had to resign unless of course you were a senior officer Question Or are the rules different for our service men and women

In days of old Johnboy..When we had open fires, eg.coal, peat,wood..one (mostly females) would get up close to get a heat.Being bare legged they usually ended up with a rather fiery looking rash....FIRE TARTAN....Just a minor burn..
