Popped along to the Tank Museum at Bovington on Wednesday, been meaning to go there for ages and finally got the chance. Didn't recognise the place, totally changed but very smart.
The jolly old camera was on meltdown taking pics of those German tanks, damn' great things, how they lost the war I'll never know.
There was a young German family wandering about, there was mention of The War but I think they got away with it. Suspect
Well worth a visit, they let you in for nothing, if you can prove you're a veteran. Bit pricey if not though.

When I was attached to the QRIH a tank just missed the LAD office (my office) and ploughed through the QMs car park, boy did that do some damage. The QM looked at what was left of his car and said bloody hell I just put a crate of beer in the boot.

There is a Chieftain Stillbrew in the Tamiya ( cold war) hall. They do allow you in it at certain times. I was lucky enough to get in earlier this year. First time in said beast for over 25 years.

I think I missed that one, (must confess, I didn't know what STILLBREW was 'till I googled it !). There's a nice Saladin there though, I noticed.
Not having been to the Tank Museum for nearly 30 years I took loads of pictures, it was only later that I discovered that my camera's autofocus had been accidentally switched off. Bloody waste !
I'll have to take another trip.
