PostSubject: RAF Links   RAF Links Icon_minitime2/1/2009, 13:28

While researching information for the main site I came across this link:-

http://www.rafacb.org/RAFACB/Links.aspx

Some of the links are inactive, but there could be something there for the RAF types amongst our members.

Paul.

In connection with my first post, the webmaster, Pat Honey, has sent these links to add to the list.

www.nsrafa.org - the site of the National service (RAF) Association.
www.rafhednesford.org - the site of No 11 School of recruit training. (Squarebashing).
www.rafacb.org - personal site about the little known Airfield Construction Branch of the RAF.

PostSubject: Airields and Landing Strips (Luftwaffe / RAF from 1945!)   RAF Links Icon_minitime16/12/2016, 14:24

This link gives access not only to numerous airfields and flying sites, but includes their post-war Grid References and a link to Google maps!  and directions to the nearest alternative helipad/flying site  - useful !

Google this !                     http://www.mil-airfields.de/germany/air-bases-military-airfields.htm

However the following site lists flying sites used by the Lutfwaffe with Lat/Long co-ords which can be fed in to Google / GPS to display a current map location (which may have been built over):
