PostSubject: Exercise "Able Archer" 1983.    19/10/2015, 00:23

Here is several links on how close we came as a Nuclear War! Even closer then the Cuban Missile Crisis. (Funny thing is, the west didn't even know the threat-how close we really came.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1bO8n6ryuU (The British MI6 (SIS) had a mole within the KGB.) Colonel Oleg Gordievsky had warned British Intelligence that the Soviets were preparing for a Nuclear War, against the war and nerves were 'extremely tense'!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oleg_Gordievsky(He warned the Brit's and the U.S. Govt that the Soviets were getting overtly paranoid over Ex Able Archer.

Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Petrov (Soviet Air Defence Forces) "Hero of the world-literately!" (If you ever meet him,...buy him a beer....many beers actually!!!!
