PostSubject: Chernobyl Disaster April 1986.   31/10/2015, 12:20

For anyone who's interested, here is a excellent documentary on the Chernobyl disaster and it's long term effects in the regions of it's people and environment as well it tells about the Soviet Volunteers and it's heroic efforts to save the country from nuclear contamination! The radioactive cloud from the damage reactor blew across much of the EEC for the first week. here are some links on this subject.

Just for interest sake, several links on Soviet era nuclear disasters that were almost as 'dangerous' as Chernobyl. The first one was in the town of Kyshtym (1957)and it had a huge radioactive fallout range throughout that era. A second large nuclear accident happened in 1968. as well. Cheryabinsk is the most nuclear contaminated place on the planet.
