No I don't I'm afraid... My Nan was born in 1925 and married in 1946 and this is addressed to her as a Miss so I was guessing early to mid 1940's... Many thanks...

Thanks for this additional information

I believe the post card was probably sent in Autumn 1945 shortly after the initials BAOR were introduced replacing the initials BLA (British Liberation Army) as part of the military postal address system.

Thank you so much JPW... Is it possible to tell from the address a location that my Nan might have been in?... We believe she was in the NAAFI... I also have this photo of her which must have been taken around the same time (my Nan is on the right) Do you recognise where this may have been taken?... Thank you once again... I appreciate your help...

Thank you for recent posting, you have answered my next question

If she was working for NAAFI she could have been employed in any Troops Canteen anywhere in the British Zone which stretched from Bonn in the the Rhineland to the Danish Border.

Unfortunately dont recognise the initials on the post card address and sadly the photo could have been taken in any German city centre.X
