After close to 50 years bringing the news to British Forces based in Germany
Sixth Sense will produce a bumper Christmas issue - out on 14th December - as the
LAST EVER issue of the newspaper. (Nowadays newspaper is FREE to entitled personnel )

The Editor plans to include a commemorative pull-out supplement celebrating the History of
Sixth Sense.

Contributions are invited from Readers in this Final Edition - Fond Memories, Favourite Story that has
appeared in Sixth Sense (remember the 1st April wind-ups ?) Have you been featured in the paper, interviewed by or spoken with reporters (crikey I remember Norman Cunion! before he got to Sixth Sense).

Think Sixth Sense actually had its origins as the The Beaver produced by the Canadian Brigade in the Soest area

Correct JPW, I have a copy of the first issue dated 6 Nov 70, produced for 6 Armd Bde when they replaced the Canadians, if anybody requires a pdf copy please send a PM with your email address

Not involved Telymech, however a few years back spent some time at the museum making copies of the Wire for my research into the early days of BAOR, glad you are pleased with the copy, best regards Steve
PS: For a while in the Royal Signals there was a trade Telymech!
