PostSubject: 'Shrouds of The Somme'    14/11/2018, 14:08

I attach details of the 'Shrouds of The Somme' display in the Olympic Park, Stratford, East London for those who cannot get to see it -- once in a lifetime display of over 72,000 figures each hand-crafted representing those British Servicemen killed at the Battle of The Somme WW1 and who have 'no known Grave' . It was very moving to see hundreds of people silently filing past. My Wife donated her RED POPPY to one of the Figures. I used my 2002 Hasselblad 501Cm camera with A16 backs and outdated Colour and B&W film.
