There was a big clock on top of the JR's club and canteen in Ripon Bks, the four faces often told different times, I was puzzled that they didn't all work of the same mechanism.

I remember those flash messages from doing duty Clerk in 20 Bde and 1 BR Corps, how come they always came in the middle of the night!

Actually quite a few, but of course unless you worked in the Comcen or were directly involved with wherever the signal was addressed to you probably wouldn't know about it.
