Some one asked a question about signals on the other Board, in the days of email, do we still signal? are commcens stilla round?

Personally I have no idea but with mobile phones, email etc one does wonder. You will still have battlefield radios I assume but not sure about the rest?

There is an electronic warfare regiment and air support units still around.I presume there are still comcens in Germany.

This is the closet I got. The Army always had a secure PBX Exchange system within UK & Europe, and I'm sure they use some form of Closed Intanet & e-mails these days?
