| Paul, thanks so much for the information. I'm so glad to have found this site! I'm interested in hearing from anyone who was at Elles Barracks at Detmold during the time I was, 1968 - 1971. I was also stationed in Singapore from 1962 - 1965 and Bicester from 1965 - 1968. I live in the U.S. now and think often of my time in the army and the many friends I made. | Hey M, Sorry I was not in Detmold in 1971, but I was there from 1975 - 1980 and visited Elles Bks a few times as the court martial centre was there. No, never been court martialed just escort duties, Lol. Sadly all of Detmold apart from a few Married Quarters has all gone. Had some great times in Wetmold. aka Detmold. |
