| i took these pics with my son last year, the place is totally empty. I cut a massive hole in the fence to get in only to walk 50m further up when i got in , and they've knocked down loads of the fences to allow the deer to walk about lol. Time on RECCE is seldom wasted lol. | |

| I am one of the editors of the site and you seem to have a lot of really interesting photo's. We would love to have them on the main site if you would be prepared to let us have them? Clearly Osnabruck and the surrounding area is your forte. If you would be prepared to let us put them on the site could you send anything you have to me at chrisp@baor-locations.co.uk and I will put them on. I will, of course, ensure that you are acknowledged as being the source of the photo's. Anything else you, or anybody else has would be gratefully received, particularly any of the older pictures when we were all younger and serving! | |

| Niehiem was a 1 (BR) Corps Reserve Ammunition Depot run by 1 (BR) Corps Combat Supplies Battalion RAOC (later 5 Ordnance Battalion RAOC then 6 Supply Regiment RLC till it close around 2000)
The building with rubber floors was an Ammuntion Process Building were ammuntion was inspected & repaired. it was for anti-static purposes. _________________ Sua Tela Tonanti
