Another rant !

I've just come away from watching a programme about emergency bikers on Channel 5.

Copper on a bike chasing a load of Born Again Bikers in "ESSIX".
Gets them to stop, points out that they were doing 140 mph, have been very naughty and tells them they'll have to go on a two day rehab course to learn the error of their ways.

That's fair enough, I mean they were only doing twice the national speed limit . . . innit ?

Another motorbike copper, bored, is cruising the A12, looking for trouble and-horror of horrors-there's a woman feeding her baby, in a moving car BUT THE BABY ISN'T IN IT'S BABY SEAT !!
The copper then bangs on and on about what a heinous crime has been committed and nails the poor driver for a £60 fine.

Bikers doing 140 ?, that's OK, well, they're The Lads ain't they ? Woman feeding a baby ? Downright criminal.

I'm going right off coppers, I really am.

Calm down Brum ! Can't say I've ever down 140 on a bike. We used to think it great if and only if we could do the magic ton on our Triumph Bonnevilles in the early sixties.
Still got a Triumph but at my age (77) that kind of speed is a pipe dream away. Giggle !!
