| Out here in Alberta, gateway to the Rocky Mountains, we've been through about 2 weeks of Chinooks -- the warm winds that come down through the mountain passes and gives us "mini-spring thaws" periodically throughout the winter.
Naturally, since I am now on 2 days off, they've ended and we are once again beset by blowing snow, gray skies, and a biting wind.
It's not -30C or anything (thank The Deity for small mercies!) but it's chilly. The dog likes it.... | |
