It will not surprise you to know that a lot of the BAOR information stems from this site

Management of both sites has changed in recent years but during the start up period there was an agreement to swap info between the two then webmasters.

This clip runs on for some time, I take my hat off to those having to salute all the way across Red square. The officers are a bit slack they all seem not to be able to lift their legs as high as the other ranks following. Their REME seem to have sorted out the transport not one broke down, also are the 8 wheeled vehicles carrying any thing ? No signs of BRDM’s PT76 or T72 they must have sold them all to Iraq

Jim. I remember in my teens, buying an 18 set and a couple of 38 sets from Shudehill Supply Co. in Manchester, where I worked at the time. Only cost a couple of quid, and hours of fun.
An 1155 set would set you back a fiver.
