| Hello! I have found a photo of a german "Jagdtiger" tank destroyer. The caption says that it was taken at the Sennelager Museum in 1948_49. It was made by a guy serving in the Danish Brigade in Germany at the time. Anyone knows anything about this museum or the place where this info could be? (Location, why it was closed, what happened with the vehicles, was there more than one "Jagdtiger"?) |

| Sorry I can not read Danish, but GOOGLE has a translation page. It is an automatic translation, so, it is not perfect, but it gives some help.

| Hi all,
I did two weapon training "sessions" in Sennelager in 1951 and 1952; and the tank museum was there then. Most were under some sort of cover, and a couple out in the open. In the back of my mind I think a Russian tank also there, may have been captured by the Germans.
What happened to this valuable historical collection?

| I believe that the Museum had gone by'66. The collection was shipped back to UK and now resides mainly at Bovington whilst some items, including the Jagdtiger, went to RMCS Shrivenham. |

| The Sewnnelager Museum WAS in the coach park garages near the Antwwerp Barracks Gate to Normandy Barracks. It didn't last long into the 1950s and this prime example was shipped off to Bovington |
