I have a number of photographs my father took between 1955 and 1957 of New Years Parties, Tramps Ball etc. He served in the RAF in Germany from 1947 to 1959 - not sure if anyone would be interested if I posted them, in case any relatives are on them?
I enquired whether one of the RAF museums in the UK would like them, along with signed Christmas Menus when he was stationed in Habbinya Iraq but they never bothered replying

Welcome to the site Kaz,
We have always been low on RAF members. I think members of the site would like to see a selection of the Iraq photos. Me as well!
Kaz, lets monitor the replies to your post. If members want anything special you might have, then they will pipe up!
If you are computer literate, you might find a way to display photos. As a newboy, there is a restriction on PM etc for a couple of weeks.
If you have probs posting photos, then let me know here. I may need take them from you to post them?

Here is Pt2 of Kaz's photos. (I am posting photos for Kaz).
These are a selection of RAF Scharoldendorf's Mess Do, New year 1955-56.
I have included a small map to indicate the Unit location (big red is the unit location. The small dot is approx where the the East German border lies in the Hartz Mountains
The search is on for Kaz to find some more photos of the unit building etc.
