| Jean,
I knew quite a few people who went there, one was Tommy Brackley, he was a tall pale lad with a shock of unruly black hair.
His Father was the Bandmaster of 1 LF. |

| I was a day pupil at Windsor Boys School, Hamm, circa 1958-59. My Dad was a C/Sgt with Northamptonshire Regt, but was seconded as Chief Clerk to Station Staff Officer - Dortmund.
I have memories of Windsor School, although I was only there for a year or so. We wore claret coloured blazers. There is a website for old pupils of the school, I think.

| Further re the Windsor School..it is now no more, no more Brit kids there anyway. They might have even demolished the joint. I think originally it was a German Army Barracks, then the British Army took it over in the early 1950's as a boarding and day school for 'army brats' like me and thousands of others. |

| I too was a pupil at Hamm, Caernarvon House again, 1961-62. It has now been totally demolished after having been, I believe a refugee camp for a number of years after it closed as a school. |
