PostSubject: New page on main site - Memories   2/12/2008, 12:57

There is a new page on the main site called Memories.

It is there to record details that have been sent such as letters, photographs, etc. both known and unknown. Some photographs will probably be copied from other pages where they are of individuals or small groups.

Please look at the page for details.

Paul.

A photo of a Guard Mounting in the 1970's has been added. Anyone know who the Guard are?

As it is Caithness Barracks, Verden, then it is safe to assume that it is 1 Div Sig Regt.

Yes it is 1 Div Sigs, the photo was also put on the Caithness page of the main site. The body who sent the photograph does not know who they are, so I posted it there to see if it rang any bells.

Paul.

This is a bit out of date, but someone recognised themself on the photo and asked for a copy - it was supplied.

More recently some more photographs have been added on behalf of a poster looking for information on a relative.

The page has also been modified a little to separate the subjects.

Paul.
