Seeing the Christmas window displays brought back memories of viewing what seemed to me to be almost magical displays as a child in Germany. the use of automated figures fascinated me.

I also remember marzipan!!! Loved the stuff and can't find it easily here...at least not the fruit, piggies, etc. made of marzipan (ordinary marzipan bars, sure...borrrriiinnngg LOL). Marzipan is Christmas, to me.
