Wolfenbuttle Barracks

Hello all,

my father did his national service 1950/2 at Northampton Barracks,Wolfenbuttle.Dad is 80 this year and (touch wood) in good health.

I would love to take him to Germany for a holiday to celebrate his birthday and combine it with a visit to the camp. Is this possible or has the camp shut down.

sorry diane but Northampton Barracks at Wolfenbuttle closed in 1993. there may be some bits of it standing but from what i gather it looks completly different. most buildings have gone and as with many camps in germany all three camps i was in have gone and are completly unrecogniseable.
