| Yeah, how likely is that... LOL Used by many as a stepping stone to senior rank (I knew 2 guys who did this, one an RAOC MTI thought he would propel his career an absolute waste of uniform, another, also an RAOC MTI did it for all the right reasons and really did his best to lead those astray young men back onto the right path). | |

Sad git still has a copy! Bugger me, I didn't know about the "faster sidekick" ! Seeing that you have the book, perhaps you could look up two more appointment titles for me. Try as I might I can't remember the one for RAOC or the Padre (RACh D). Cheers, old horse.

Restricted Reluctant to argue after such a delicious steak but I've got RICKSHAW as RASC (RCT . . God knows what they became) There must be an appointment title for Padre somewhere. God botherer won't do for my last Padre. Next time you see that newsreel clip of the service in the Falklands where they're burying the PARA dead, that voice is the bloke who used to be our Padre. He and his wife were international rifle competitors. Last time I heard him he was on the Terry Wogan Show on RadioTwo. Smashing bloke, he deserves an appointment title !

| According to ARRSE, it is Skypilot but that might be just one squaddies make up. Don't remember seeing it in any books but then again I am thick. Could lift heavy things though sometimes. | |
