Sad little people who have to pretend something that they never were. 61 years old and wearing WW 2 medals. He's not only a sad loser, he's stupid to.

Nutstrangler, that nickname caught my attention.

Back around '73 I heard a Jock VM use that name for the first time and I allways thought it was a "local thing".

An Instrument Tech with us in The Kesh was so taken by it he called himself a Wirebender.

Never caught on though.

Isn't HALO something the Yanks call a type of parachute jump ?

High Altitude - Low Opening perhaps.

'Tis what I did when I was in, and also after I came out. I've still got more tools than I could shake a stick at, in my man-shed!

Think our lot do it as well. Always makes me laugh when I see James Bond doing one from a Hercules or similar. He is all kitted up with oxygen but the yanks are standing there at the back with the ramp down sans any breathing gear. Tough those yanks!

HALO has a counterpart - HAHO, high altitude high opening (good for night time insertionswhere a little more accuracy is required).
