BFPO 47 is only the BFPO number for PRB (The old RAF Gutersloh). Mansergh Bks, the other location in Gutersloh has it's own number which is BFPO 113.
The reason for this was some silly idea of security when 47 Fd Regt RA moved into Mansergh Bks. The idea was that the BFPO number and the unit shouldn't have the same number, despite the fact that the address would have both the BFPO number and the unit title on the envelope.
Strange, but true.

Phil, a lot of the barracks covered in dust, which we occupied prior to the introduction of BFPO numbers, had BAOR numbers. A couple for you: Luneburg - BAOR 8. Verden & Rotenburg - BAOR 32 (no change)

Paderborn became BFPO 22 when 20 Bde moved from Detmold.
BFBS used to be housed in a private house and broadcast from Cologne, their address was BFPO 19 ( the RC Retreat Centre was also housed in another private house not far away thjeir BFPO was also 19)!
