I heartily agree, as I understand it they will be nothing more than a Pop Group in uniform following the move to Catterick. I suspect the volunteer Pipes and Drums of 102 Battalion REME will be more popular

Here's something for the  oldies & the not so old who relish a bit of foot stamping , big band stuff......

I came across a joint RE- R.Sigs- Mercian band, flash mob session which is worth a look......... Swing stuff,  not the regular military marches & things, but a fair interpretation of a Benny  Goodman classic, "Swing, Swing, Swing " starting off with a drummer doing the Gene  Krupa intro on a wheelie bin......  Lost you ?    Can't give a direct, web site  access , but put in "Army Bands, flash mob Birmingham " & turn the volume down.
 It were good in't olden days, tha knows !
