| Hello all, Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been busy. This version represents the closure of the bulk of my work, other then some minor amendments (I am missing several barrack locations and TTW roles for the smaller Corps), my colleagues and I believe we have extensively covered the topic. However I do want to reach out to the "Old & Bold" and continue to add their insights and vignettes of Exercises and time in BAOR. Version 5 contains several appendixes, a bibliography, Major Army Equipment, abbreviations and acronyms, and information on the Continental TA. Again any additions and corrections are welcomed. http://www.orbat85.nl/documents/BAOR-July-1989.pdfhttp://www.scribd.com/doc/146180392/BAOR-July-1989-v-5-0Louie | |

3) Does anyone know the Barracks for the Corps Lighting Tp ?

According to the "History of the Royal Engineers" part of 65 Corps Support Squadron Ravelin Park Hameln accommodation would have been Bindon Barracks
They used 27.5 Kva Meadows generators, the Royal Signals Electrician Drivers were trained on them but the RE had the Corps HQ responsibility, at Divisional HQ level we supplied power with the 6 Kva Coventry Climax (ugh!) replaced by new 10 Kva Perkins in 1968 a great improvement
