As many of you know, a Canadian Cpl. was killed while standing guard over the grave of the Unknown Soldier at  the Canadian National War Memorial. This political cartoon followed shortly after. Rather breath taking in it's meaning. To me it is the WW 1 Soldier saying, " Come along lad, you can join us up here".

Of the three - Vienna, Wansbeck and Windrush - the Wansbeck was reputedly the worst. I was lucky - never really had a bad crossing but I knew some blokes who had some horrendous ones.
